Geller: The West Has Lost the Will to Live

The West is hanging on by a thread and doesn’t even know it. We are living off the fumes of the accomplishments of our forefathers and those who fought and died in the cause of freedom and individual rights. But the thread is wearing thin. Time is just about running out.
After the murderous jihad attacks in Paris comes the predictable Western response: not resolute self-defense, but weepy candlelight vigils, protestations of unity, and hashtags. After the jihad attacks in Garland, Texas, Chattanooga, the University of California Merced, and scores of arrests of American Muslims working for ISIS (the FBI has 900 ISIS-related investigations currently ongoing), our top priority should be to crush the enemy.
Instead, we get pathos and pitiful memes. NBC reported: “Paris residents were using the hashtag #PorteOuverte — French for ‘open door’—on Twitter to offer safe haven to strangers stranded after a string of deadly attacks Friday night.” Everyone is congratulating himself over this hashtag. “Twitter users in other countries,” NBC added, “also began using the hashtag to share their delight that social media was being used for a good cause”—colossal stupidity.
“Share their delight?” This delight is misplaced. I would expect nothing less than that Parisians should offer safe haven: just because savages are at war with us doesn’t mean that we should be less human.
This hashtag is just the latest in an endless stream of manifestations of the sophomoric, embarrassing, preening self-indulgence that is endemic in our sick culture. It is reminiscent of “Boston Strong”: Really? How? After the Boston Marathon jihad bombings, the media and Boston elites refused to call the attack jihad. The Boston city government refused repeatedly to run our American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) counter-jihad ads, but run vicious Jew-hatred ads regularly. We are en route to the Supreme Court compelling Boston to run our ads. What’s strong about Boston? What stand did Boston take against jihad?
Equally revolting is the Eiffel Tower peace symbol that is circulating around. Do the leftists think the ISIS jihadis will see this and lay down their arms? If the Christians and Yazidis in Syria make the peace sign, will all be well? If the kidnapped schoolgirls—now sex slaves—make the peace sign, will they be freed? Such idiocy is an affront to every freedom-loving human being.
The endless patting ourselves on the back that citizens of Western countries engage in after a mass slaughter by jihadists is disgusting. People are crowing about hashtags and blood donations as if this is somehow new. Of course we care. We always care. That is our value system, that is a Western value. The United States of America is the most charitable nation on earth. That is who we are—although when Obama speaks about universal values, G-d only knows which ones he is talking about: those of the West or those of Sharia.
What no one is talking about is taking on these savages. That is what is so morally depraved about our response. The idea that we’re not allowed to take the appropriate measures to defeat the Islamic State is obscene. The idea that the United States of America cannot defeat the Islamic State or al-Qaeda is absurd, and the whole world knows it. But we choose not to use our strength. We choose to be victims. It’s shameful.
And clearly, since everybody knows that we are not physically weak, where is the basic dignity that any nation should have, to stand up for its own values? If nothing else, when we find ourselves involved in a war, we should fight it and finish it. You either win or you will be defeated.
Obama has aligned with the jihad force. In Syria, Egypt and Libya, and worst of all, now Iraq. He has blood on his hands. He has the blood of hundreds of thousands of Christians, the blood of our soldiers. By abandoning Iraq, he takes on his hands the death of every soldier who gave life and limb in Iraq to defend this country. Whether you agreed with the Iraq war or not, we did it. We went in and asked the native population to help us. You cannot just withdraw and abandon those people.
Is it proper for us to defend ourselves and to take the appropriate action to defend this country? Of course. One of Obama’s historic crimes is that he allowed our superiority to deteriorate. But that doesn’t mean our enemies have disappeared, or that we cannot or should not defend ourselves against them. Just hours after Obama insisted that he had contained the “Junior Varsity team” ISIS, they laid siege to Paris. And this goes unchallenged.
When Muslims attack, the left attacks us. MSNBC, the Guardian, and Salon all ran pieces blaming the “right-wing” for the Paris attacks. Outrageous, but not surprising. The enemedia is aligned with the jihad force. As the jihad heats up in the West, the media is becoming more clumsy and desperate in its attempts to deflect attention away from the jihad and back to its favorite bogeyman, “right-wing extremists.” Now, even when the evidence of Islamic jihad responsibility is everywhere, as it is with the Paris attacks, “journalists” still find ways to put the blame on the “right-wing” that they hate far more than they do bloodthirsty jihadis, whom they don’t dislike at all.
If you have an ounce of self-esteem, when someone comes at you with a gun, you answer with force. If he is out to destroy you, you owe it to yourself to defend yourself. We need to understand that the left is as dangerous, if not more so, than the suicide bomber, for obscuring this basic fact—because leftists have the legitimacy of the mainstream, the imprimatur of respectability, and they wield this spurious legitimacy like a club to destroy all opposition to their totalitarianism.
We need to go to war against the left. We have to get that into our heads. We have to accept that terrible reality. They want to destroy our freedom. They want to destroy our country. They want to steal our children. That’s war. There is no one on the right who has the correct philosophy about this. The left demands the right to lie, and they are lying to the American people on a massive scale, even to the extent of making people think there is something wrong with loving and defending our nation.
The idea that the Paris attacks happened on the eve of a global conference not on the gravest threat to freedom, not on the global jihad, but on climate change, speaks to how unreal and sick we are as rational beings. Even worse, as if that weren’t bad enough, you have a presidential candidate saying that climate change is responsible for terrorism. And the very serious talking heads in the mainstream media are reporting this with a straight face.

The fact is, global jihadists, whether they’re ISIS or al-Qaeda or Hamas or Hezbollah, are monstrous aggressors. We don’t have to wait for the first sign that they are attacking; they have declared war against us. They must be destroyed. We can’t complain about what we should or shouldn’t be doing, we have to correct it. This idea of containment, as Obama claimed the other day to have “contained” ISIS, is absurd—an intermediate state.
There is no intermediate state. It’s either/or. This is war. We have to fight it.

The Problem is those in Power to Do something about this, (obama) and his administration, refuse to lift a finger and keep the deals they are making under the table , if the rest of us try to RISE up, the NSA , DHS, are monitoring our comments and Know if we are planning anything, each and everyone of US, must prepare for the Inevitable, the collapse of the US, because of the policies of the left and liberal republicans who have all gained financially from their works, I see no simple Solution for what we are facing until the current regime is gone from power, and hopefully Indicted by the next one for their c rimes against the US and it’s People

Well said. I no longer believe in the “wake-up calls” we used to talk about after 9/11. The Left is in the snooze business. They are willfully blind, delusional and so terrified they have to displace their feelings on a familiar domestic political enemy. They prefer to fight those who alert them to the danger than the danger itself.

The USA has an opportunity at this time. It is undeniable that Islam is incompatible with the values of western nations. The USA just “fought” wars in the Middle East for how long? 10 years or so, and it accomplished nothing – why? Because we weren’t really fighting a war – there were too many rules of engagement – we were “policing” and basically farting around creating a lot of animosity by occupying other people’s countries. They don’t like that – just as we wouldn’t like it. So, every time we killed some “bad guy”, because we were farting around, his brothers, uncles, sons, etc would see what we did and they would hate us more than ever. What is the solution? You have to kill all of them at once – you have to hit them so hard they never rise again. We did it to Japan. We have to nuke Islam into submission. We are not willing to fight them house to house, we cannot afford the cost, it will never succeed, it will produce many casualties, and it isn’t necessary. We have the weapons to knock them out for a good long time. We must use our nukes now – this is our opportunity. It cannot be a “tactical” nuclear war – we have to erase some major cities, starting with Mecca. I suggest we get going now while we have the opportunity. We have unlimited video footage showing people in the ME burning our flags, killing our soldiers, shouting “death to America”, etc – we know where they are – it’s time to pay them back. Then we can get back to work fixing the mess in our own nations.

No other plan will be effective. This will require nukes in my opinion. No more pussy footing around driving our nations to bankruptcy using convention weapons – it will not work against an entrenched enemy that hates our guts. We have to knock them OUT.

If Muslims in the west are treated the same way muslims in saudi arabia or Iran treat Christians, do you think we would have monsters like cair or muslim brotherhood and other islamic evil franchises in the US today? If Sisi of Egypt can shut down over 100 mosques in his country and sisi is Muslim, why can’t we shut down all mosques in the US? Can we be more Catholic than the pope?

You are correct – no one would use nukes unless they had to. In the case of Islam, there is no other choice. Nothing else will rid us of the problem. Conventional weapons only make more enemies. Nukes will leave no witnesses to become our enemies. Sad that it has come to that, but it is 100% clear that there is no other way.
Well, we could obliterate a good portion of them with conventional weapons then occupy and run their countries for the next 100 years – that MIGHT work, might not, but it would definitely bankrupt us. That’s why nukes are required – there is no other way that we can afford to solve the problem.
Well, there is one other way: if the nations of the world got together and stopped all trade with the problem nations, and starved them out, then that would solve the problem and we MIGHT even be able to afford that option. No visitors to or from those nations, shut off all pipelines, ports, roads, rail, etc – total blockade. In a year they’d be a lot more cooperative I think. Do you prefer that over nukes? If so, convince the 1/2 monkey in the WH to git ‘er done.
Don’t just say what we can’t do – offer some solutions that will work. I just offered 2: nukes or starvation.

What you are saying is true of much of the American and European left. It is sad that they would oppose the bombing of ISIS when that bombing is what saved the Kurdish socialists in Kobane! I am trying to get some of them to see that. We will see how they respond.
…It is also alarming that Obama would call on Saudi Arabia and Turkey to supply the troops to defeat ISIS. Turkey is the worst enemy of the Kurds.
The Kurds would gladly destroy ISIS if we would only are them properly. And much of the American left would rather oppose American involvement rather than lobby on behalf of their fellow socialist Kurds. Ron McMullen, labor leader.

Unfortunately America is having amateur hour in the field of international diplomacy. The democrats are fighting any who support freedom and tolerance, in preference to islamic oppression and murder. If more American realizes how much they would loose under shariah law, there would be a large and powerful opposition. Beer and bacon burgers would be the first to go, along with hot dogs, music and dancing. But, mandatory five time a day prayers would replace them.

Good, accurate, incisive article, and while I was checking it out at Breitbart I noticed this one:
“After Paris, Pope Francis Tells Christians to Be Ready for the End of the World”
Another way to write that headline would have been: “Pope bends over, begs ISIS “Please f**k me”.
Is the Pope Catholic?
Apparently not! Now it all depends on us as individuals, doesn’t it? All I can say is, if the Western left is intent on committing suicide, good riddance. But don’t count on any help from me or any of the millions of Americans and other life affirming humans who appreciate the value of civilization. You won’t be taking us with you without a fight, that I can promise. We knew the world the left was preparing for us stunk to high heaven. Now, unfortunately, we are going to discover just how right we were.
Those who love life and the peace that makes life worth living do not cower in fear. As Aristotle said, “We make war that we may live in peace.” I didn’t start this war (did you?) but I’m ready to finish it. Lock and load:

Article III, section 3 of the Constitution “Any person who levies War against the United States or adheres to its enemies by giving them Aid and Comfort has committed treason within the meaning of the Constitution. The term aid and comfort refers to any act that manifests a betrayal of allegiance to the United States, such as furnishing enemies with Arms, Troops, Transportation, Shelter, or Classified Information. If a subversive act has any tendency to weaken the power of the United States to attack or resist its enemies, aid and comfort has been given.”
Under such Hillary and Obama has committed such with Benghazi, supplying arms to what is now ISIS.
Hillary has compromised classified information.
The Iran Deal has a subversive act of weakening the power of the United States.
The firing of long standing generals who oppose Obama’s leadership is weakening the power of the United States.
Anyone who supports the Iran deal are also in contempt of this provision in the constitution.
The President undermining and allowing illegal aliens in this country, has allowed criminals in this country, including ISIS members with oncoming ‘refugees’ and open borders…providing aid and comfort to these people. Clinton and Bernie sanders on National Television stated they want to give aid, free housing, free college to these illegal aliens and refugees. Such is all considered treasonous under our constitution for undermining the safety of this country and its citizens.

I could not agree with you more. We are at war. Islam applauds these acts of terrorist violence, and I believe that the culture which is Islam has lost our reason to express any sympathy for and to them. They continue to teach and promote terrorism thru Jihad, with their expectation of world domination of all non-Muslim’s; therefore we must fight for our lives and totally destroy the caliphate and all those armies that would murder us, as was done in WWII. No other choice is left. We must get our President and his cronies to release our military to do the job with total NATO support. We must not be concerned about collateral damage as every war has its share of that. The time is now. A Christian theocracy is more or less a secular state because no one will compel you to go to church or not to be gay or kill you for expressing yourself. Not so an islamic theocracy. I would point to Bush’s response to 9/11 as the beginning of our capitulation. Twenty-four hours after the WTC was attacked, we should have dropped a nuke on an uninhabited part of Afghanistan and informed them that if they did not turn over bin Laden immediately the next one would fall on Kabul.
Instead, we went about cobbling together a “coalition” that would conduct a pulled-punches “war” which accomplished little but to allow the terrorists to proliferate.
That set the tone for all future responses to terrorist attacks. The pattern is now well-established and described perfectly in your post, Ms. Geller. I see no hope for a political solution and there appears to be no will to effect a military one.

Recently lots of questions to lots of articles and threads, all with essentially the same theme. “What’s the West going to do? … Making ‘the politicians aware(sic!) … Wake up … et cetera est.”
The short answer is: Nothing. Muddle through, avoid ‘unrest’, defer the problem – preferably to future generations. Or at least until I am out of office and can enjoy… Massive income from ‘consultancies’, ‘lecturing’ awards, sponsored by (Prince so and so), peace institute, and so on and so forth.
Making politicians aware? Does anybody or anyone of you, who frequents this and similar websites, really believe that they don’t know? They know better than you do, much better, trust me.
So, what will happen? Before commencing, a word about the free media. That’s a number of organizations where the employees are free to write what they want, since their writings will go invariably through the editor, who is of course free to edit – according to the instructions of the owner of the organization or media concerned. Who wants to sell copies, who wants to attract advertisers, and also wants to attract investors, and all want to manipulate. And if those who are below the editor, within a given hierarchy, want to write something else, like the truth (I am being either hilarious or delirious, have your pick); they are then free to fill out an unemployment form. Free press? My foot!
So, what will happen? A critical point utter mistrust, fear and despair will be reached, and then the populace will blow. Until then however, the free press (Oh Brother!) will pressurize the politicians to show ‘leadership’ and not to be ‘populist’. Translate: “Mr./Mrs. Politician, ignore the populace which has elected you! Show true leadership, and ignore the voters. Otherwise we’ll tell the voters that you want to do what they want, and for what you have been elected by them.” How? “Very simple, we tell the voters that you are a populist. These idiots wont comprehend that this means that you are actually following their instructions – as you are supposed to do. Instead, those morons wonder if you are aware of … whatever.”
So let’s assume that this point has now been passed and history will repeat itself. Remember the reformation wars against the Vatican’s dominance? In Germany for instance, out of population of 12 million, there were 9 million dead, in 30 years of civil war. About 2 million due to the black death, another 1 – 2 million due to starvation, since agriculture and industrious activity were paralysed. So, roughly 6 million civil war dead out of population of approximately 12 million. Yes, about 50%, that’s what happens when emotions fly, and people don’t want to submit to an alien ideology or religion. And the longer it lasts, the more pent up the emotions and thus the messier it will become. As it was then. Know this: Human nature has not changed one little bit. I assure you. And that scares the politicians.
That leads to the question: Who will win? The Europeans, the Americans. The Christians, for short. People will need a spiritual stronghold, or ideology if you are an atheist, otherwise their fight will be half hearted, and thus doomed. Nobody is going to fight for Darwin or our superior values. When it blows, there wont be much left of these anyway. That means Christianity will be recovered/reused at the time by whoever will be the rulers then, because they don’t want to become a bunch dhimmies either. The reasons why we will win is because when those events will take over, matters will have spun out of control (Dr. Martin Luther didn’t want that either), and the battle lines are drawn. For ‘matters’ read people. And neither the European nor American police and military forces will side with the Muslims, they don’t want to be dhimmies either. Not even the free press will want to be that; well, for them it seems to depend on the money. But we do have the better weapons, education, organization etc. There may well be a nuclear exchange, unless we strike first, and massively so. Then no exchange.
Now you know what will happen. Till then, nothing, but more and more terror attacks and the non-populist ‘leaders’ will continue to submit to the free press, which doesn’t want to upset their advertisers and financiers, and so these two groups will continue to try to defer the unavoidable. And the same is definitely true for those wonderful, multicultural institutions, supported by peace loving and well meaning potentates, or even substantial shareholders. You may define ‘well meaning & potentates’ yourself, as per geography and ethnicity. According to your perception and inclination. When will it happen? In 5 years, 20 years, how long is a piece of string?
And please, do understand that these marvellous leaders of ours don’t want to go down in history as being responsible for Europe’s, and possibly America’s, worst civil war(s) ever. No, no, they are peacemakers, bridge builders and facilitators.
Lunacy? Ask yourself this: If the press is really under the thumb of ‘the Jews’, then how come that the free press is always hammering the Jews, but not peaceful Islam? No, I am not Jewish, I’m a protestant of German extraction. Continuing with that insertion, ask yourself further, how many Christians and Muslims are desperate to escape from Israel. O yeah, none. Not one. But doesn’t the free media always show…? Read again from the beginning.
Conspiracies? To an extent, if there weren’t any there wouldn’t be miles upon miles of sealed documents in endless corridors – to be opened in 50 years or so. Minor thing. Major thing is that all that it takes is a convergence of interests, that is all it takes. Plus, perhaps, the unimaginable terror by those ‘father/mother knows best politicians’ from uttering those horrible three words: “Sorry, I erred.” They are like the Pope, they don’t err. Really perfect, aren’t they?
Till then folks, shout out your anger and keep on screaming about ‘Islamofacists’, Islamonazis’ etc. None of that is even remotely true in strategic terms. Even Saudi Arabia is not the headquarter. There is no headquarter, and WW2 fantasies wont get you anywhere. It will get very, very messy. BTW, the Fasces (fascism) were and still are a Roman symbol of justice, a bundle of rods and an axe held together in red tape, the rods are to beat the criminals, the axe to behead the murderer. You may have seen them in the US, Lincoln’s hands are resting on these in Zeus temple in Washington. Also, the walls behind the speakers podium in the senate sport two big, gold plated ones on each, the left and the right side. To you Americans, dear chaps, every congressman knows this, if you want to get at least a mediocrum of their attention, show them that you know what you are saying. That is, refrain from hyped up, meaningless terms such as ‘Islamofascism’ and similar. Please, otherwise they’ll consider you a bunch of yokels.

I listened to the BBC News on NPR yesterday while I was on the road. They were interviewing leftists and Muslims in Paris. It was the most disgusting display of liberal fantasy and self-loathing I’d ever heard and gave me less than no hope for France. It did open my eyes more on one issue, however, that being, literally everything the liberal media and politicians say about Islam and Muslims is a lie. Losing the will to live is what listening to pervasive, continuous, perpetual lying does to us.

Law enforcement, judges, are not going to have the courage to arrest, or stop Americans from defending themselves against islam. Nobody wanted this, but no longer a choice. If another 9/11, or Paris attack happens, it is safe to say, all bets are off., and that is a general whisper. Again, I am only one of a few million Soldiers who have the courage, after all, we had them broken, till obama and his cast of idiots lost our war, for us. Now we have to fight at home? Are we to blame?
