European Jews fear for their safety

25

Violent attacks on Jews increased by nearly 40 percent in 2014, with most attacks occurring in Western Europe. The overwhelming majority were committed by Muslims. The response by the international community is to fight “islamophobia.”

Just today, Jewish student’s death in Germany was a “set-up,” expert says. Jeremiah Duggan, 22, died after attending meeting in 2003 where he objected to statements blaming Iraq War on Jews.

Europe learned nothing from the Holocaust. They traded six million Jews for 20 million Muslims. What is frequently referrd to as the “Palestinianization” of Europe is actually the islamization.

Story continues below advertisement

Europe is reverting. Europe has returned to its old stomping grounds — comfortable again to indulge their dark, monstrous impulses.

The Holocaust, while it was a German initiative, was carried out by every nation in Europe, save for the Danes. There were Dutch Nazis, Polish Nazis, French Nazis etc— Europe as a continent decided it was a good idea to get rid of the Jews.  The New York Times has reported the discovery of 42,500 Nazi ghettos and camps over 13 years of analysis. That number includes “killing centres,” forced labour camps, prisoner-of-war camps, brothels and “care” centres where pregnant women were forced to have abortions, The New York Times reported. 30,000 slave labour camps; 1,150 Jewish ghettos; 980 concentration camps; 1,000 prisoner-of-war camps; 500 brothels; and thousands of other camps for pregnant women and the elderly.

Over 42,000 concentration camps? That wasn’t just the Germans.

Caroline Glick and I discussed Europe at length in a radio show years ago. She said, the  Europeans learned all the wrong lessons from the horrors of World War II. The lesson that Europe had decided to avail itself of in the aftermath of Auschwitz was not that evil is bad and that they behaved like monsters, but rather that everything was caused by nationalism and therefore what they really needed to do was create a European Union that would obviate their need for nationalism, so that we can become this transnational gobbledygook and they’ll all get together and therefore they won’t have another Auschwitz.

The lesson they should have learned was that they were evil and they have to be good. That is the lesson they never learned. They have to be able and willing to make moral distinctions and stand up for the good and fight evil, and that is something the Europeans refuse to do.

Nationalism isn’t bad. American nationalism wasn’t bad, has never been bad. British nationalism hasn’t been bad. French nationalism isn’t bad. Polish nationalism isn’t bad. Czech nationalism wasn’t bad.

The thing that was bad was that Germany decided to embrace madness and evil as its central unifying characteristic under the Nazis. That is what the problem was; it was not nationalism per se. And its still not nationalism.

They took all the wrong lessons from WW2 and are applying them, while ignoring the only lesson that’s really relevant from WW2, which is that you have to choose good and defend good and fight with the intention of defeating evil.

“European Jews fear for safety a year after museum attack,”  AFP, By Lachlan Carmichael and Philippe Siuberski, May 20 , 2015

Brussels (AFP) – A year after a gunman murdered four people at the Jewish Museum in Brussels, Jews across Europe increasingly fear for their safety and warn they are on the frontline of an Islamist war against democracy itself.

Since the attack in the Belgian capital on May 24, 2014, Jews have been slain in jihadist attacks in Paris and Copenhagen. Jews were also murdered in a similar attack in the French city of Toulouse in 2012.

“The threat of jihadist attacks in Europe is not limited to the Jewish community,” European Jewish Congress chief Moshe Kantor told AFP.

Islamic Jew hatred antisemitism

“Islamist extremists see European democracy and freedom as their primary enemy. However, Jews remain on the frontlines,” he added.

Like EU and European government officials, Kantor voiced concern that Islamist militants trained in weapons use and hardened in battle would mount more attacks in Europe following their return from Middle East war zones.

Several thousand European nationals are feared to have joined jihadist groups in Syria and Iraq.

The four people killed in the Brussels attack were Israeli couple Emanuel and Miriam Riva, French volunteer Dominique Sabrier and museum receptionist Alexandre Sterns.

Six days after the Brussels attack, police in the southern French port city of Marseille arrested 29-year-old Frenchman Mehdi Nemmouche, who had gone to fight with jihadists in Syria.

Found with weapons similar to those seen on museum security cameras, Nemmouche was extradited to Belgium at the end of July.

While waiting for his trial, for which no date has been set, he has denied having carried out the attack.

– ‘Difficult year’ –

“We have had a difficult year on the personal level,” said Philippe Blondin, the director of the small museum in the picturesque Sablon neighborhood of Brussels.

The time when the museum was open without security measures “has unfortunately ended,” Blondin told AFP.

Visitors now walk past two well-armed Belgian soldiers and then through airport-like metal detectors to enter the building.

The museum, which reopened four months after the shooting, will exceptionally be closed on Sunday, May 24, in a sign of mourning.

But the Coordination Committee of Belgium Jewish Organisations will stage a vigil outside its doors at 3 pm (1300 GMT).

“The day of the attack, I was devastated, but I couldn’t part from the feeling that it was going to happen,” said Joel Rubinfeld, the president of the Belgian League Against Anti-Semitism who rushed to the scene within 30 minutes.

Rubinfeld said he has observed a rise in anti-Semitic acts in the last 15 years, but he said Jews are not the only target of the Islamists.

“What they are spreading is hatred of Jews, homosexuals, women, free-masons. In brief, those who are different,” Rubinfeld told AFP.

“They are in the process of testing democracy,” said Rubinfeld, who has received death threats.

He said fear is beginning to drive members of the 40,000 Jewish community to leave Belgium, adding he knows three families who will leave for Israel over the summer.

– ‘Fear and anxiety’ –

Viviane Teitelbaum, a Belgian politician, said she has also been the target of insults and intimidation.

“Many Jews have started to raise questions, especially about the future of their children,” Teitelbaum told AFP.

“It’s sad when families leave because they no longer feel safe in the country that welcomed their parents,” she added.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited Jews to Israel both following the February Copenhagen shooting in which an unarmed Jewish security guard was killed at a synagogue and following the January Paris attacks in which four Jews were killed at a kosher supermarket in tandem with the Charlie Hebdo attacks.

In Copenhagen, a filmmaker and security guard were killed in attacks on a cultural centre and synagogue.

European Commission First Vice President Frans Timmermans has said the EU faces a “huge challenge” to reassure Jews about their future on the continent.

Kantor said fear of anti-Semitic acts was leading to an “exodus” from Europe but he gave no figures.

“It is clear from statistics and the feeling on the ground that the situation for the Jews of Europe hasn’t been as bad since the end of the Holocaust,” Kantor said.

“I have never heard and felt the fear and anxiety in so many parts of Europe as I do today,” he added.

In ten years time all of continental Europe will definately have become uninhabitable for Jews. Britain will probably go the same way unless UKIP can form a government and do the necessary.

Christians aren’t killing the Jews! Christians are heart broken over the fact this president is so arrogant and insolent to our ally Israel. He is an evil, evil man. He constantly lies!

He would rather concern himself with the terrorists in Egypt getting what’s coming to them for their evil genocide perpetrated against Christians, Jews and any non Muslims!!! He is having them defended with our tax dollars!!!

Before this president there wasn’t any rioting to speak of! Why is that? Because Obama is lying thru his teeth and causing race wars! Wake up you sleeping rebellious nation. God is about to render judgement upon this land! If you claim to be a Christian you absolutely cannot condone this nazi in the White House.

I hope that the silly Christians who support Muslims and have turned on the Jews come to their senses. Here in Australia there are stupid university students who speak ill of the Jews. I feel like I want to slap them.
Serbs and Jews suffered the same fate in the former Yugoslavia during WWII. I fear both are going to suffer the same fate again. At least during WWII the US and allies were on the right side. This time it seems they have joined the evil side. The next war would be far worse for both.

Everyday, we see more and more, the need of the Jewish State of Israel, for a future refuge for Jews around the world.
Jews, who are amongst the most ancient of peoples, today number around 16 million.
Christians number over 2 billion, and Muslims around 1.6 billion.
The most ancient of all, should have the highest number, but are only a small fraction, when compared to the others.
Where did all the Jews go?
We all know the truth, and please don’t let history repeat itself, yet again.
Stand steadfast behind the Jewish State, and don’t let her give up even ONE inch of Israel to the invading Muslim marauders.
God bless

If Obama is the convert he says he is, why isn’t he not screaming about the Christians who were beheaded by ISIS? Is it because they do not have USA citizenship? Should he not be outspoken and threaten their existence? Why is it that existence of ISIS has never been openly challenged and words like “degrade” them are used? Do you “degrade” IslamoNazis that destroy every nation in their path, or do you pledge to wipe them off the face of the earth? Is Obama trying not to hurt Baghdadi’s feelings as the caliph? What is going on in the White House?

Do not stay, it was a mistake to go back there and the governments you stay under and not loyal to Israel, they are time and again loyal to sharia, the noose is tightening, wake up and GET OUT !!!!!!!!!!

Abram Goes To Egypt

While Abram was on this journey, a famine broke out in the land, and Egypt, so long known as the storehouse of the world, became the goal of Abram’s wandering. Knowing the evil ways and morals of the Egyptians, Abram tried to hide his fair wife Sarai. But the custom-officers discovered her and took her into King Pharoah’s palace, believing her to be Abram’s sister and not his wife. At night, G-d appeared to Sarai and assured her that nothing would happen to her. And G-d smote Pharaoh and his men with plagues, and they could not touch Sarai. When they found out the reason for all the trouble that had come to them, Pharoah called Abram and rebuked him for not having revealed to him that Sarai was his wife. Then he sent Abram and Sarai away, after he had given them many gifts of cattle and servants.

The Strife of the Herdsmen

The famine ended, and Abram and his household, among them his nephew Lot, returned to their old place in Canaan, between Beth-El and Ay. Abram was now very rich. He had flocks, silver, and gold in abundance. Lot also had a great number of sheep and cattle. But whereas Abram’s shepherds abided strictly by the rules given to them by their pious master concerning trespassing upon the property of others, Lot’s shepherds were rough men who did not respect this spirit of justice. Thus there were constant arguments and strife between the herdsmen of Abram and Lot. Soon complaints reached Abram about the misbehavior of Lot’s herdsmen and the strife between the shepherds. Abram therefore called Lot and said to him: “Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdsmen and thy herdsmen; for we are brethren. Is not the whole land before thee? Separate thyself, I pray thee, from me; if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right, or if thou take the right hand, then I will go to the left.”

Abram and Lot Separate

Abram and Lot were standing on the height near Beth-El, and: from this point they gazed over a wide extent of country. They looked down into the fruitful and blooming valley of the Jordan; it was indeed like the Garden of Eden, or like the rich land of Egypt they had just left. But the people of these lovely districts “were wicked and sinners before G-d exceedingly.” Lot made his choice without hesitation; and separating himself from his generous and unselfish kinsman, he journeyed eastward, and finally pitched his tent near Sodom, in the valley of the Jordan.

Abram, left alone in his encampment near Beth-El, received from G-d another of those promises so full of hope and gladness. He was bidden to lift his eyes to the north and south, the east and west; for all that land should belong to him and to his descendants forever. And great and numerous should be his offspring, for G-d pledged, “I shall make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then your seed shall also be numbered. Arise, pass through the land, in its length and in its width; for to you I shall give it.”

Thus commanded by G-d, Abram traveled southward, until he reached the city of Kiryath Arba, later called Hebron. There he was welcomed by Aner, Eshkol and Mamre, the resident lords of the Amorites. They formed an alliance, and Abram settled down in the oak-groves of Mamre.

Lot a Prisoner of War

Lot was soon to discover that his greed for wealth had nearly cost him not only his entire fortune but also his life.

On the plain of the Jordan there were five old cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, Zebaim, and Bela or Zoar. These cities had been conquered by Chedarlaomer, the powerful king of Elam, on the east of the Tigris. For twelve years these cities paid tribute to him, but then they rebelled, and regained their independence for thirteen years. The following year, however, the great king of Elam resolved upon crushing his former satellites; and with the help of three neighboring kings, he marched from his territory, confident of success. After having gained many victories in the east and south of the land, the kings descended upon the valley of the Jordan, the real object of their trip. The five cities trembled with terror at the approach of the conquerors. Yet, anxious to resist the invaders to the last, the kings of the five cities marched out at the head of their armies and met the enemy in the valley of Siddim, near the dangerous bitumen pits, which they hoped would entrap the unwary strangers. A desperate battle was fought. The four eastern kings overpowered their unfortunate opponents, and trapped the kings of Sodom and Gemorrah in the very bitumen pits which were to have become their own graves. The others fled in trembling haste towards the mountainous lands of Jericho. All their rich possessions fell into the hands of the conquerors.

Amongst the captives was Lot, Abram’s nephew, who had remained in Sodom, his chosen place of residence. Abram was in the oak-groves of Mamre, when a messenger, who had escaped from the battlefield, arrived with the news that Abram’s nephew was a prisoner, a slave of the great king of Elam.

The Rescue

Abram immediately gathered all his men, three hundred and eighteen in number, and pursued Chedarlaomer’s victorious army. It was a daring act, but it proved Abram’s firm belief in G-d’s help and justice. Attacking by night and aided by many divine miracles, his small band of warriors defeated the overwhelmingly superior forces of Chedarlaomer. He recaptured all the loot, freed the people, and brought them back in a march of triumph, singing praises to G-d for His miraculous help wherever he went.

Laden with this wealth, and accompanied by Lot and his released fellow-captives, the conquering Abram returned towards his home. In the valley of Shaveh he was met by the king of Sodom, who came forth with Malkitzedek, the king of Salem, who, as mentioned before, was Shem, the son of Noah, and priest of G-d. In accordance with his priestly office, he brought bread and wine, which he gave to Abram, adding to this typical offering a blessing so true and simple: “Blessed be Abram of the Most High G-d, Who has delivered thy enemies into thy hand.” Abram gave him a tenth of everything he had.

The king of Sodom satisfied with the liberation of his captured hosts and country by Abram, gratefully offered to him the whole of the spoil he had brought back; but Abram, unwilling to be enriched by the wealth of idol worshippers, refused everything “from a thread to a shoe-strap”; yet he permitted his faithful allies Aner, Eshkol, and Mamre to take their due portions.

Count the Stars

After Abram’s victory over Chedarlaomer G-d appeared to Abram and promised him further protection and great reward. Abram exclaimed, “Of what avail is all my wealth if I go childless, and there be no one to carry on my work after me?”

The answer full of comfort came forthwith, that no stranger should be his heir, but his own child. To enhance the force of these words, G-d called Abram from his tent and told him to look upwards to the heavens. The next moment Abram was standing at the door of his tent, gazing upwards and listening to the Divine words: “Please look heavenward and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So will be your seed.”

Although Abram was already an old man and his wife could hardly be expected to have children, now after she had been childless for so many years, Abram believed this promise, and G-d gave him much credit for his great faith. Again G-d appeared to him in a vision, this time not altogether of a comforting nature. And He said to Abram, “You shall surely know that your seed will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and they will enslave them and oppress them, for four hundred years. And also the nation that they will serve will I judge, and afterwards they will go forth with great possessions. But you will come to your forefathers in peace; you will be buried in a good old age. And the fourth generation will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites will not be complete until then.” As the voice of G-d ceased in the midst of the dense darkness, a flame descended upon the sacrifice Abram had offered up; and while the animals were consumed, G-d reappeared: “To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt until the great river, the Euphrates river.”

Takes Hagar as Wife

The fame of Abram’s victory and his noble character spread far and wide, and he gained the respect and admiration of everyone. Abram would have been happy indeed, but for the fact that G-d had not blessed him with a heir. He and Sarai were growing old and longed for a child. When Abram reached his eighty-fifth birthday, Sarai asked him to marry her maid Hagar. Hagar, prior to becoming Sarai’s maid was a princess in Pharaoh’s house, she preferred to be a maid in Abraham’s household.

Abram accepted Sarai’s advice and took Hagar as wife. She bore him a son, who he called Ishmael, “G-d will hear.”

The Covenant

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, G-d appeared unto him again and changed his name from Abram to Abraham, meaning “the father of a multitude of nations.” Sarai also received the direct blessing of G-d; before she had been called Sarai, but now she should be known by the noble and proud name of Sarah, “Queen”: “I shall bless her,” said G-d, “and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be of her.”

G-d then made a covenant with Abraham. According to this covenant Abraham and his future generations must follow in the path of G-d, and G-d promised them the land of Canaan and His protection and care. The command for circumcision (Brit) was then given as a symbol of this covenant. Every newly born Jewish boy should be circumcised at the age of eight days. Abraham himself, despite his ripe age, and all the male members of his household, underwent that operation, and the covenant was established for all generations to come.

Mike, to a certain extent you may be right. There are many liberal Jews, and I’m sure they supported bringing in the immigrants to Europe right along with the leftist Europeans. Remember also that many of these immigrants were originally wanted for the menial jobs they performed such as the Turks who came to Germany. The exact same problem exists in Israel with leftists there also trying to bring many foreigners into the country.
