Having priorized the appeals for help, the Hope Chest team is continuing to send out the portion of your donations destined for lightworkers. What is this doing?
Clearly this is an effort which, under present conditions, is not to be regularly continued unless we can find a way to do so. Undoubtedly you’ve reached into your savings or other needed sources of income to assist. Dare we think that this can be made a regular occurrence? We’re not sure.
But even as a singular event, what has it done?
It has shown that we can take upon ourselves the care of other, less fortunate people. There are very few occasions on which we share our wealth, apart from national disasters, to make the statement that we care.
It has shown us that 100% of donations intended for those in need can reach those in need. It has shown us that people can handle charitable monies without corruption. Let me dwell on that for a moment.
When the Haiti disaster happened, the world responded by donating to charitable efforts. But we were told that the money so donated, especially to such funds as the Presidents’ fund, mounted by George Bush Sr. And Bill Clinton, was stolen and never reached the people of Haiti. Here is Matthew Ward on the subject for instance:
Suzy Ward: With so much money donated for the reconstruction of Haiti after the earthquake a year ago, why is that country still a disaster zone?
Matthew Ward: Because those funds were stolen by the Illuminati after their technology caused the quake—that stealth is why former US presidents Clinton and Bush rushed to Haiti so quickly after the quake. (1)
If what Matthew says is true, do we really think that the Hurricane Katrina fund, managed also by these two worthies, reached its intended sources? We’ve been hearing that, far from aid reaching the hurricane’s victims, those victims were denied basic services, rousted from their homes, and not permitted to return to the area.
Every penny of the portion of the money sent to the Hope Chest for the relief of lightworkers is reaching those lightworkers. We’re demonstrating that people reaching out can see their efforts reaching the people they were destined for.
There’ll be those who say, well, wait a minute, fifty percent will go for the expansion and sustainability of the Nova Earth team. Yes, it will. We’re not saying anything different. This is a dual-purpose fundraiser.
But of the portion that was clearly destined for lightworkers in general, rather than the portion that was clearly destined to support the blog, radio shows, conference team, etc., 100% has gone and will go to those it was intended to serve. We rely on you to make that distinction.
An unintended but useful consequence of this action is that we’ve also learned much that will prove valuable to us if and when Pre-NESARA funds are released. That’ll mean that our own efforts will be that much more effective and efficient when the time comes to mount that much, much bigger and broader effort.
Of course we have no idea when those funds will be released. No sense writing us. We’re waiting along with everyone else. But we do now understand a great deal more about how things need to be managed. That will mean that we can get significantly larger sums out to lightworkers generally, faster, with fewer mix-ups when the time comes.
It has also built a close-knit team of people who know they can rely on each other. All of us have pitched in to this effort, thanking donors (we have four more pages of thank-you’s to go), answering your questions, getting clarifications from intended recipients, tracking special requests and responding to them, on and on the work goes and the whole team handles whatever each of us can. There are no shirkers or hangers-on, so to speak.
But most of all, it has, as was intended, sent a message of hope to lightworkers everywhere – that, even though we couldn’t handle the entire need that’s out there, people do care. They care for each other. They care for total strangers. They won’t stand by while others starve and go homeless. Our means are limited, but when our means are no longer limited, it sends the message that we’ll respond all the more generously and unstintingly.
We collectively – you and us – are turning aside from the old paradigm of looking out for Number One and no one else. It’s not the death knell for that way of life, but it’s a very strong signal that the days of the old paradigm are over.
We’re turning aside from a system of selfishness, separation, competitiveness, social Darwinism, corruption, exploitation, and elitism. Granted it may be by way of a small action taken here, but its significance is out of all proportion to its size.
Werner Erhard used to talk about the Hunger Project (the end of hunger on the planet by the year 2000) being a shot heard round the world. This is, as Stephen Cook called it, a hug felt round the world, in the name of love, compassion, kindness, and caring. This is what John Kennedy called the moral equivalent of war, a war on poverty and hunger and illness, and we shall win this moral war with the weapons of inclusiveness, unity, sharing, and sacrifice.
Even if we cannot reach out to the extent we’d want to, we’ve broken the mold and we can only go onwards and upwards from here. We don’t know what’s next but we do know there will be a next. And we expect that next to be grander and easier, more extensive and more inclusive.
We believe that this is the road to unity consciousness. We believe it’s the road to a world that works, with no one left out. And we acknowledge and value your partnership in creating it.
