Turks and Caicos designer, Kazz Forbes will make a reappearance, showcasing Saint George Fashion House (SGFH) ‘Island Breeze: Turks and Caicos’ Resort Collection, at the prestigious Red Rose Ball in Grand Bahama which will be held under the distinguished patronage of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, the Right Honourable Perry G. Christie and First Lady Bernadette Christie.
Forbes, principal designer and proprietor of Saint George Fashion House (SGFH) was first invited to showcase his ‘Le Caicos Chic: A Romance with Decadence’ collection at the Red Rose Ball themed ‘A Night at the Opera House, Australia’ in 2011. In doing so he left attendees and committee members in awe. He was immediately contracted for the 2012 Red Rose Ball.
The Red Rose Ball is a charity fundraiser that sees all proceeds benefiting the Grand Bahama AIDS Awareness Committee in Freeport, Grand Bahama. Each year, the gala is held under the patronage of Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the First Lady.
Under the theme: ‘Las Vegas Cabaret Charity Ball’ – the black-tie charity affair will take place November 3rd, 2012 in a continued collaborative effort with Partners whom have taken a stand in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Grand Bahama, at the Radisson Grand Lucayan Resort’s Grand Ballroom.
The evening will see an opening fashion showcase by Saint George Fashion House, Prime Minister Perry Christie as Key Note Speaker and will feature Harold Melvin's Blue notes of Philadelphia, Jullion Collie's New Wave Dancers, Miss Talented Grand Bahama 2012, Patricia Sweeting and The Matrix House Band.
